CHIX PLEDGE

“A Meal with Meaning – One Chicken at a Time”

In response to the growing need for protein-rich meals among underserved families, Abundantly Giving launched the Chicken Pledges Program—a unique and heartfelt initiative where individuals, families, and organizations can pledge chickens to support our

community food distribution in South San Diego.

What started as a simple idea has helped hundreds of families receive fresh, nourishing meals—bringing comfort, dignity, and nutrition to their tables.

🌟 How It Works:

  • You pledge the cost of 1, 5, 10, or more whole chickens.
  • We purchase and distribute them directly to families during our food outreach events.
  • You receive a thank-you update with photos, stories, or testimonials showing the impact of your pledge.

💛 Why It Matters:

  • Protein is often the most expensive and least accessible part of a meal for families in need.
  • A single chicken can feed a family of 4–6 people and bring a sense of celebration to an ordinary day.
  • You’re not just donating food—you’re offering nourishment,      hope, and stability.

🙌 Get Involved:

  • $10 = 1 Chicken
  • $50 = Feeds 5 Families
  • $100 = A week of meals for multiple households

Testimonial

From a Grateful Family

"When I picked up the chicken from the Abundantly Giving team, I honestly cried on the way home. With everything getting so expensive, I hadn’t been able to cook a full meal with meat for my kids in weeks. That one chicken fed my whole family—not just their stomachs, but their hearts too. It reminded me that there are still people out there who care."
